About the CSA

The Twisted Root CSA includes 18 weeks of certified organic vegetables, herbs, fruit and flowers. Please reference the sample shares below to get an idea of what a typical share may look like. All shares are distributed on Sundays, from June 11th-October 8th. All members will be asked to pay for the 18 week period in full upon signing up. Shares are limited so be sure to sign up as early as possible!

Share Sizes

Full Share:

A full share will provide enough produce for 4-5 people each week. The cost is $540 for 18 weeks ($30/week). This share includes a variety of 7-9 types of vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruits.

Mid-Sized Share:

A mid-sized share will provide enough produce for 2-3 people each week. The cost is $405 for 18 weeks ($22.50/week). This share includes a variety of 6-8 types of vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruits.

Partial Share:

A partial share will provide enough produce each week for either a couple or one person with a plant-heavy diet. The cost is $270 for 18 weeks ($15/week) and will include a variety of 5-7 types of vegetables, herbs and fruits. This share size does not include flowers.

Pick Up Information

North Fork Valley: North Fork members may pick up their shares at the farm anytime on Sunday morning or later. Shares will be kept in a walk-in cooler located in the farm’s pack shed.

Gunnison Valley: Distributions will be held every Sunday from 9am-2pm at the Crested Butte Farmers Market, just look for the Twisted Root stand! To reduce waste, please remember to bring your own bag.

Opt-Out Policy- If you cannot pick up your share on a given week (going out of town, etc.), just let us know the week beforehand and we can either double your share another week, distribute that week’s box to another person/family member of your choosing, or we can donate your portion to the local food bank.
